Casa Daros was created to serve as a platform for promoting and showing contemporary art in general, with a special focus on Latin American production. It is an independent forum, open to all lines of thinking.
In keeping with this aim, it will exhibit the Daros-Latinamerica collection, located in Zürich, Switzerland, which houses more than a thousand artworks from almost every country in Latin America. It is Europe’s largest collection of Latin American art.
Casa Daros has set itself the challenge to act as a catalyst for intellectual discussion and artistic dynamics in Latin America, and to promote contemporary Latin American art within the international context.
The interaction between the artworks, the artists and the public will be permanent.
