Now open: Casa Daros in Rio de Janeiro
Having recently opened its doors, Casa Daros has already attracted over 24'000 visitors. The opening exhibition Cantos Cuentos Colombianos, which will run until September 8, 2013, presents contemporary Colombian art.

In the connected Documentation Space, visitors find further details on artists and individual works of art.

Art education is one of the mainstays of Casa Daros. The exhibition Para (Saber) Escutar, which will run until July 28, provides an overview of projects that took place before the opening of Casa Daros.

Following an extensive tour comprising 7 venues in 6 countries, the Luis Camnitzer exhibition by the Daros Latinamerica Collection will be presented in the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Santiago de Chile for the last time for the foreseeable future. At the same time and in close collaboration, the Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos will present a themed group of works. A grand finale!

Venice Biennale 2013
Numerous artists from the Daros Latinamerica Collection will be presented on the Venice Biennale (June, 1 – November 24, 2013): While Nicola Costantino will play for Argentina and Alfredo Jaar represents Chile, Wifredo Díaz Valdéz will show his works in the Uruguayan Pavilion.

The Cuban artists Lázaro Saavedra and Tonel will show their art in the Museo Archeologico at Piazza San Marco. Priscilla Monge will exhibit works at Cà Bonvicini, Sta. Croce, 2161.

The artist collective Quintapata (Pascal Meccariello, Raquel Paiewonsky, Jorge Pineda and Belkis Ramírez) (Dominican Republic), Jhafis Quintero (Panamá) and Martín Sastre (Uruguay) will show their art in the context of the Instituto Italo-Latino Americano exhibition in Arsenale.
