Daros Latinamerica houses Europe’s only library specializing in contemporary Latin American art.
It comprises over 8500 artist monographs, catalogues of solo and group shows, volumes of art history and criticism, and selected works of art theory and philosophy, as well as subscribing to more than 20 art periodicals from Latin America and Spain. Our rare-book collection includes a complete set of catalogues of the Bienal de São Paulo.
Daros Latinamerica sets particular store by documentation of its collection and exhibitions, and our library and archives therefore feature a comprehensive assortment of publications, portfolios, reports in the press, invitations to exhibitions of work by artists represented in the collection, and documentary material on exhibitions.
Visits to the library during office hours must be arranged in advance.
None of the holdings may be borrowed. Videos in the Daros Latinamerica Collection and DVDs held by the library may be viewed on site. The library is located in the Daros Latinamerica AG office suite.
